Anna Krivonos and Kristina Dmitrenko took their places on the podium
Elena Gorodnaya became the winner women’s sprint on 2024 Ukrainian Summer Biathlon Championship.
Gorodnaya missed one shot in the standing shooting. Elena was 14 seconds ahead of Anna Krivonos, who took second place. The bronze medal went to Kristina Dmitrenko.
An unexpectedly high result was shown by 18-year-old Valeria Sheigas. The athlete was aiming for a medal, but two misses in the standing shooting dropped her to fourth place. Valeria Dmitrenko and Anastasia Merkushina were next.
On Monday, the Ukrainian Championship will also feature men’s sprint. On September 24, super sprints will take place, and on the 26th, classic relays will take place.
