Sorin said the FIS decision to extend the suspension of Russians no longer causes emotions

Coach of the Russian national cross-country ski team Egor Sorine admitted that he was no longer closely monitoring the situation regarding admission to international competitions and felt no emotion about the latest decision.

The International Ski Federation (FIS) has extended the suspension of Russian athletes from participation in tournaments under its auspices for the upcoming season, the Swedish newspaper Expressen reported on Friday.

“We didn’t even know when this meeting would take place, we didn’t think about it, we didn’t expect a decision. If they allow it, fine, if they don’t allow it, we’ll run like we did. If two years ago we were waiting for the meeting, watching when it would take place, now there are no emotions. We continue to run like we were running,” Sorin told .
