The Russian Skating Union (SKR) reduced the quarantine for Russian speed skaters Kristina Silaeva to join the Kazakhstan national team, Elizaveta Golubeva There remains a deadline of two years, reports a correspondent.
Previously, the executive committee approved Silaeva’s quarantine for two years. At today’s meeting, the quarantine was reduced until June this year. The corresponding decision will be sent to the International Skating Union (ISU).
The decision was made in connection with a change in the athlete’s marital status – Silaeva got married.
