The Executive Committee of the Russian Skating Union (SKR) approved a two-year quarantine for the medalist of the World Speed Skating Championships Danila Semerikova on the transition to the Uzbek national team.
Semerikov previously informed the Investigative Committee of his desire to play for Uzbekistan. Members of the executive committee voted Tuesday in favor of a two-year quarantine.
Quarantine begins from the date the Skating Union receives a complete package of approval documents from regional federations and organizations with which their labor relations have ended.
