russian biathlete Edward Latypov in an interview with a correspondent, he shared his expectations for the upcoming starts, telling which Commonwealth Cup stages he plans to take part in.
The Commonwealth Cup is a separate tournament apart from the Russian Cup, in which biathletes from Russia and Belarus will participate. It is planned to organize five stages (two in summer and three in winter) with a prize fund and the possibility of starting for any team.
– I will play at the Commonwealth Cup stages in Sochi and Raubichi. Expectations? We have to check the preparation – how we got through the first part of the season. See how you feel, compare with the guys. The group is doing well. Everyone is interested in how we envision this step. Such control begins to help keep fit. It is very good that there is healthy competition. We have to make sure we are ready for admission to international competitions,” Latypov told .
The Commonwealth Cup stage in Sochi will be held from August 25 to 28, in Raubichi – from September 13 to 19.
