Ukrainian Julia Jima will speak at Christmas race 2024.
Thus, Ukraine will retain its traditional tandem for the reporting event. Previously he announced his participation in the race Dmitry Pidruchny.
Dmitry and Yulia represented Ukraine in the Christmas race last year. Then the Ukrainian duo took fourth place in the mass start – Pidruchny and Jima were 16 seconds short of the podium.
For the last two years, the Frenchmen Julia Simon and Fabien Claude have won the race. They will also participate this year, so they have a chance to become triumphant for a record third time.
Christmas race (aka – World Team Challenge) Ukrainian duets won twice in its 21-year history. In 2008, Andrei Derisemla and Oksana Khvostenko succeeded in this, and in 2014, Sergei Semenov and Valentina Semerenko.
The traditional Christmas race will take place in Gelsenkirchen, Germany on December 28.
