As learned, the amount of prize money for victories in individual races – men’s and women’s mass starts – at the YANGPUR MLKB Cup will amount to one million rubles.
Silver medalists will receive 500 thousand, bronze medalists – 250 thousand. Biathletes who move from fourth to tenth place will earn 125, 100, 90, 80, 70, 60 and 50 thousand, respectively.
In the mixed relay, the three best performances will be rewarded with the same amounts as in the individual races. Those in fourth to sixth place will receive 200, 150 and 120 thousand respectively.
Winners will be rewarded in each program type after each race. The top three finishers receive flowers, medals and a cash prize, athletes ranked fourth to tenth receive flowers and a cash prize.
The awards ceremony takes place in the presence of the athletes who placed first to tenth in the individual races and first to sixth in the relay races. The team that scores the most points in individual races and relays receives the competition winner’s cup.
Earlier it became known that cash prizes in the amount of 100,000 rubles will be received not only by athletes, but also by coaches of biathletes who finish in the top 10 in mass starts and move from first to sixth to mixed relay.
The YANGPUR MLCB Cup will take place in Khanty-Mansiysk. On November 16, a mass start will take place, and on November 17, a mixed relay will take place, in which 15 teams from Russia and Belarus will participate. The biathletes will not represent the regions, but the biathlon clubs. A total of 60 athletes will participate in the competition.
