The Khamovnichesky District Court of Moscow rejected the complaint of the St. Petersburg Biathlon Federation against the Russian Biathlon Union (RUB), as follows from the court file.
The decision was made on Monday November 11.
In July, Metaratings.ru reported that the president of the St. Petersburg Biathlon Federation, Dmitry Vasiliev, sent a complaint against the SBR to the regional federations. The claim relates to loss of profits amounting to a certain amount of money. Vasiliev claims that the predecessors of the head of the SBR, Viktor Maigurov (who worked part-time in the SBR), did not receive a salary, but Maigurov receives 350,000 rubles a month, he is also paid for the rent of an apartment in Moscow and a minibus, used in the interests of the entire federation office.
Maigurov has been president of the Russian Biathlon Union since July 2020.
