Skier Lidia Gorbounova became the winner of the individual 5 km race in the classic style at the All-Russian competition “Khakassia Cup”, which takes place in Vershina Toya.
The athlete representing the Republic of Tatarstan covered the distance in 14 minutes 32.8 seconds. Another local athlete finished in second place Anastasia Faleeva (+15.6), closes the leading trio Arina Kalicheva (Moscow, +18.9).
On Tuesday, the competition will also include a men’s 10 km classic style time trial. Among the participants is three-time Olympic champion Alexander Bolshunov.
