Daniel Serokhvostov became the winner of the sprint race at the first stage of the Alfa-Bank Russian Biathlon Cup, which takes place in Khanty-Mansiysk.
Serokhvostov made a mistake at the shooting range and covered 10 km in 23 minutes 27.5 seconds. The second result was shown by Alexander Loginov (0 miss; +28.7 seconds), the third was Belarusian Anton Smolsky (1 miss; +35.6).

Serokhvostov won the third race in a row. Last week he scored victories in the sprint and pursuit at the Alfa-Bank Commonwealth Cup stage.
