The first Belarusian team won the mixed relay at the first stage of the Alfa-Bank Russian Biathlon Cup in Khanty-Mansiysk.
The Belarusian team, for which Ksenia Vorobey, Dinara Smolskaya, Maxim Vorobey and Dmitry Lazovsky competed, won the relay in 1 hour 6 minutes 45.8 seconds. The KhMAO-Yugra team finished in second place (Ekaterina Moshkova, Victoria Metelya, Alexey Vagin, Nikita Porshnev) – a gap of 0.2 seconds. The top three were completed by the team from the Sverdlovsk region (Anastasia Shevchenko, Irina Kazakevich, Saveliy Konovalov, Vasily Tomshin) – a gap of 32.6 seconds.
The second stage of the Russian Cup will also take place in Khanty-Mansiysk from December 6 to 8.
