Belarusian biathlete Dinara Alimbekova admitted to Metaratings.ru that his team would be happy to participate in the Commonwealth Cup in Russia if an offer were made.
– Since the Pari Commonwealth Cup does not take place regularly, like the World Cup, will you participate in the Pari Cup of Russia and other competitions in our country?
– I still don’t know the exact plan of our team’s participation in competitions, but it would be interesting for me to play in Russia. There aren’t that many Commonwealth Cup stages, but we want to be competitive. If the Russian side does not mind, we will gladly come. It will be interesting,” Alimbekova said.
The Biathlon Russian Cup in the 2022/2023 season consists of six stages. The tournament will start with the first leg in Khanty-Mansiysk on November 26 and end with the final in Sochi on February 14, 2023.
The International Biathlon Union (IBU) has suspended Russian and Belarusian tennis players from participating in international competitions.
