Kazakevich called his shot in the biathlon relay race in the Czech Republic ugly

Biathlete Irina Kazakevich Representing Region 1 team Sverdlovsk, on , she spoke about why she made a lot of grid errors in the third leg of the relay at the Russian Championship.

Kazakevich received three penalties after standing. Her team (Anastasia Shevchenko, Antonina Kirsanova, Irina Kazakevich, Tamara Derbusheva) finished second. The first place was won by the team of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra.

“Your office, what happened?” »

There were three rounds. What can I say ? Kazakevich told .

– Because of what ?

” I do not know why. More specifically, I guess. It felt like it was going up really fast, and there was a really strong tremor in my legs, and I just couldn’t cope. I tried to catch up. What you should not do. Experienced biathletes told me about it. Probably already figured out that the longer I stand, the more I start to shake. And I just shot, I hit, I didn’t hit. As you can see, there were three circles. Of course it’s a lousy shoot, you can’t do that. But I had to run away, because out of five I got only one hit, and I started taking risks and only closed one more out of three more.

Is this some kind of symptom? And if so, how to deal with this disease?

– Judging from past races, yes, it seems to be some kind of pattern that I can’t stand pulling while standing in races. And it’s really hard for me to give answers, because when you come after the race, sort out the mistakes, watch the broadcast, you understand what you did wrong. And then you get to the next run, and you still have mistakes, apparently I can’t go from distance to standing shots. Although lying down, I also arrive at full speed, and I managed to cope today and yesterday. For now, probably, we have to fix that somehow in training.

On September 27, individual races will be held at the Russian Championship.
