Biathlete Anastasia Shevchenko told that during the women’s relay of the Russian Championship in Tchaikovsky, little things prevented her, for which she was not ready.
Shevchenko in the relay acted under the first team number of the Sverdlovsk region.
— The race didn’t work out because of a lot of little things. For example, on the first descent of the second lap, a wasp or some kind of midge crashed right into my goggles. I was not expecting this at all, it confused me. Then, on the second descent, a snake crawled on the same end. I also didn’t expect to see her there, I had to roll a little along the trajectory. Such trifles bothered me today, so I’m not completely satisfied. When I got to the counter, those little things kicked in,” Shevchenko told .
