Yan Diomande has officially signed for Real Madrid from RB Leipzig on a contract running through June 2033. The German club will receive a fixed fee of 125 million euros for the 19-year-old Ivorian winger, with bonuses potentially pushing the total cost to 140 million euros.
The transfer makes Diomande the second most expensive signing in Real Madrid history, behind only Jude Bellingham. If all contractual objectives are achieved, the fee will rise to the top spot in the club ranking.
Leipzig Performance and Summer Additions
Diomande was a breakout player at the last World Cup and attracted interest from Paris Saint-Germain. Real Madrid secured his signature after the winger scored 13 goals and provided nine assists across 36 appearances for Leipzig last season.
The player becomes the sixth addition for manager Jose Mourinho this season. He joins earlier arrivals Bernardo Silva, Konate, Denzel Dumfries, Marc Cucurella and Carlos Espi in Madrid.
