Aris defeated OFI Crete 2-1 at Kleanthis Vikelidis Stadium on Sunday as Manu Garcia scored on his return to maintain their winning league start.
The host team took a 1-0 lead into half-time before sealing a 2-1 victory, ending OFI's undefeated streak and securing a second straight win in the Stoiximan Super League.

Super League matchday two action
Olympiacos and PAOK also recorded their second victories of the new Stoiximan Super League campaign, joining Aris on maximum points after Matchday 2.
Olympiacos earned a 1-0 away victory against Asteras in Tripoli thanks to a goal from Zota Silva. Following the win, Olympiacos manager Mendilibar said that his team did not score as many goals as they wanted. The Piraeus club also remains open to signing midfielder Puerta and continues to pursue Vargas.
PAOK came from behind to defeat Atromitos 2-1 away in Peristeri, with Pelkas scoring the decisive goal for the Thessaloniki side. After the match, PAOK player Lisi said that the team deserved the victory and achieved it.
PAOK players dedicated their goal in Peristeri to teammate Giannis Konstantelias. Tests confirmed that Konstantelias suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament, an injury that will keep the playmaker out of action for several months.
AEK drop points at Leoforos
AEK Athens suffered a setback on Matchday 2, dropping points in a 1-1 draw against Kifisia at the Leoforos stadium. AEK appeared set for victory before conceding an equalizer in the seventh minute of second-half injury time.
Reflecting on the result, Nikolic said that in some moments the rules applied while in others they did not. He added that his team should have killed off the match and failed to do so.
