The fight is planned to be held in “one and a half to two years”
In Russia, they want to hold a fight between the world champion according to WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO in heavyweight Oleksandr Usyk and Russian MMA light heavyweight fighter Soslan Asbarov. This was stated by the head of the Russian MMA promotion hardcore boxing Anatoly Sulyanov.
“My dream fight in boxing? A year and a half or two, and I will do everything to see the fight between Asbarov and Usyk. Believe me, by that time Soslan will be ready. As far as politics, have you ever heard Dana White touch on this topic? Now for me, both Asbarov and Usyk are representatives of his majesty of boxing. Again, I say this in the context of sports. Not now, in the moment, but after a while it would be a loud, strong fight between two undefeated professionals.
We will remind, Usyk announced his readiness to hold a third fight with British boxer Anthony Joshua.
Earlier, Usyk said that he could have three more big fights in his career. According to Alexander, these could be fights with Tyson Fury, Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and the final fight in Kyiv – at the NSC Olimpiyskiy.
In his last fight, Oleksandr Usyk defeated Anthony Joshua in a rematch. Following the results of all twelve rounds, Alexander defeated Joshua by a split decision: 115-113, 116-112 and 113-115.
