Fury: It’s officially over for Joshua. Looking forward to fighting a man who wants to fight

Tyson is going to fight with Manuel Charr

WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury insists he pulled out of a fight with ex-world champion Anthony Joshua and his next fight will be against Manuel Charra.

“Well folks, it’s official – D-day has come and gone. No contract has been signed. It’s officially over for Joshua. Now he is in the cold, with a pack of wolves. Forget it. Cowardly idiot. He always knew he wouldn’t have the strength to fight the Gypsy King. Good luck in your career and in life. End of history.”

“I look forward to fighting a man who wants to fight, who has fire and desire. I fought the best fighters and now I will do it again. Come on, Charr.”

37-year-old German boxer Manuel Charr had his last fight in May of this year, in which he defeated Nikola Milacic.

Frank Warren, Fury’s promoter, said he still hopes to fight Tyson with former world champion Anthony Joshua.

Fury has previously stated that he no longer intends to fight Joshua, as the time for reflection for Anthony is up. Tyson gave an ultimatum to Joshua to sign a contract by Monday, September 26th. Fury said that the negotiations were too long and he did not want Anthony to dictate his terms to him.

Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn said there was no chance of signing an agreement in such a short time. According to Hearn, in this way Fury decided to avoid a fight.

Joshua, in turn, agreed to sign the contract. The boxer stated that it remained to agree on the legal nuances of the fight.

In August, Joshua lost by split decision to Ukrainian boxer, WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.

Fury defeated Dillian Whyte ahead of schedule in April of this year, after which he announced his retirement twice. At the same time, Tyson has not yet vacated the WBC championship belt.
