At the same time, Anthony wants to fight Tyson
Head of Top Rank Bob Arum doubts that the promoter Eddie Hearn really wants to organize a fight between the WBC world champion Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) and Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs).
Arum criticized Hearn harshly, stating that Eddie directly does not want Joshua to enter the ring in a duel with Fury. Bob believes that Hearn deliberately delays the negotiation process.
“Hearn slows down [переговоры], he does not want the fight to take place. Hearn will drag on until the end. At the same time, Joshua wants to fight Fury. I know what Tyson wants [боя]but Hearn doesn’t want to.”
Fury approached Joshua with an offer to complete negotiations on a joint fight in the near future. The boxer stated that his promoter Frank Warren convinced him to continue preparing for the fight.
In turn, German heavyweight Manuel Charr demands that Fury sign a contract for a joint fight. The German states that everything is ready on his side, and only Fury’s side is playing for time.
Tyson’s father, John Fury, said his son is considering three candidates to replace Joshua: Filip Hrgovic, Andy Ruiz and Luis Ortiz.
Fury, after defeating Dillian Whyte in April, announced his retirement twice, but the boxer never vacated the WBC championship belt. On social networks, Tyson has repeatedly discussed a possible fight with the Ukrainian champion Oleksandr Usyk.
