Opponent of the 2020 Olympic champion Alberta Batyrgaziev will be the Panamanian Ricardo Nunez. This was reported to by Russian boxer’s trainer Eduard Kravtsov.
The 24-year-old Russian has six victories in the professional ring (5 by KO). In the last bout, Batyrgaziev defeated Gaybatulla Gadzhialiyev of Azerbaijan on April 2 by unanimous decision. Nunes has 23 wins and three losses. In July 2019, the Panamanian fought American Gervonta Davis for the WBA (Super) belt. Only twice in his career has Nunes boxed outside of Panama – once in the United States and Mexico.
