Haney: Gervonta Davis doesn’t fight anyone. So the fight with Lomachenko is more realistic

The American will have a rematch with Kambosos on the night of October 16 in Melbourne

Undisputed World Lightweight Champion Devin Haney named Vasily Lomachenko his next opponent if he wins a rematch with George Kambosos.

“We know that Gervonta Davis does not fight anyone. He doesn’t want to fight anyone, and he’s been like that for a while. So the Lomachenko fight is probably more realistic.”

“Honestly, I don’t know much about Jemaine Ortiz. Let’s see how Lomachenko will appear after returning from the war and from the environment in which he found himself.

Haney will have a rematch with Kambosos on the night of October 16th at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia.

Recall that in the duel for the title of absolute world champion Haney defeated Kambosos by unanimous decision of the judges – 116:112, 116:112 and 118:110.

Ukrainian Vasyl Lomachenko will face Jemaine Ortiz on October 29 at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Lomachenko fought his last fight in December last year, defeating Richard Commey by unanimous decision. Subsequently, Vasily could have fought George Kambosos, but he refused it against the backdrop of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
