Everything rests on Anthony’s decision
British boxer Joe Joyce announced his unwillingness to fight with the WBC champion Tyson Fury December 3 in the event of the refusal of Anthony Joshua from the fight with Tyson.
At the same time, Joyce stressed that he was ready to fight Joshua at the end of the year. Joe announced a possible fight with Anthony on December 17th.
“If Fury and AJ don’t fight, then I will enter the game. December 3rd for me [будет] hard [подраться] with Fury. But Eddie Hearn can call Frank Warren and I will fight Joshua on December 17th,” Joe wrote on Twitter.
Joyce knocked out Joseph Parker and became the interim WBO heavyweight champion. After defeating Parker, the Briton called Oleksandr Usyk to fight.
Fury approached Joshua with an offer to complete negotiations on a joint fight in the near future. The preliminary date for the fight is December 3rd.
Tyson’s father, John Fury, said his son is considering three candidates to replace Joshua: Filip Hrgovic, Andy Ruiz and Luis Ortiz.
