The Ukrainian sparred with the Finnish heavyweight
Ukrainian heavyweight boxer Vladislav Sirenko (19-0, 16 KOs) became a sparring partner of the Finnish heavyweight Robert Helenius (31-3, 20 KOs). The Ukrainian will help Robert in preparation for the fight with the ex-world champion Deontay Wilder (42-2-1, 41 KOs).
Earlier, Sirenko signed a multi-year contract with manager Keith Connolly. The manager is known for his work with Ukrainian Sergey Derevyanchenko and arranged for him to fight Danny Jacobs.
Last year, Sirenko had four fights – the Ukrainian celebrated victories in all of them. In March, Sirenko defeated the Pole Kamil Sokolovsky by a decision of the judges, in June he knocked out the Frenchman Nevfel Uatu, in September he knocked out the Russian Alexander Ustinov.
In December 2021, Sirenko defended the WBC Asia heavyweight championship belt against his compatriot Andrei Rudenko.
Helenius will fight Wilder on October 15 in Brooklyn. The WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO heavyweight title holder Oleksandr Usyk plans to attend the fight.
