Athletistic/ Boxing. Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Gvozdyk believes Mexican Saul “Canelo” Alvarez deserved to win in a fight with Russian Dmitry Bivol.
“An equal fight, but I liked Canelo more. I think he did enough to win. The judges thought differently, maybe they know better. If the rematch happens, it will be a fight interesting. My message to Canelo? I think you’ve done enough to win, but what happened happened. Do it for revenge,” Gvozdyk said.
On the night of May 7-8, Dmitry Bivol defeated Saul Alvarez by unanimous decision, defending his WBA Super World title. The Russian boxer’s record is 20 wins, 0 losses and 0 draws. Saul Alvarez suffered the second defeat of his career. The Mexican also has 57 victories in his professional career and two fights in which a draw was recorded.
