Mayweather plans to fight McGregor twice

The prize fund will be one and a half billion dollars

Former world champion in five divisions Floyd Mayweather is going to have two fights with the former UFC champion Conor McGregor.

The prize fund will be $1.5 billion. One of the fights will take place in the MMA format, and the second will be a boxing match.

Mayweather and Conor are tentatively set to meet in 2023. The venues for the fights are Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia.

In 2017, Mayweather defeated McGregor by TKO in the tenth round of a boxing match. That fight was Floyd’s last in the professional ring.

Mayweather is a former world champion in five weight divisions. During his career, the American has won all of his 50 fights. For McGregor – the former UFC champion in two weight categories – the fight with Mayweather was the only one according to the rules of boxing.

Recall that Mayweather will hold his next exhibition match on November 13. The ex-boxer’s rival will be YouTube blogger Deji. The fight will take place in Dubai.

This will be Mayweather’s third exhibition fight this year. In his last fight, the American knocked out the Japanese MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura.

Mayweather had an exhibition fight last year against well-known YouTube blogger Logan Paul. The fight lasted all eight rounds, and the winner was not announced.
