Flag bearer of the Russian national team during the closing ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics Abdulrashid Sadulaev will fight against Belarusian Alexandra Gushtyna as part of the Poddubny Wrestling League (PWL-2), according to the Russian Wrestling Federation.
The second leg of the Poddubny Wrestling League will take place on October 13-14 in Moscow. The tournament will be divided into rankings and world series. Sadulaev and Gushtyn will fight in the World Series on October 14. For the Russian wrestler, the fight will be the first in 2022.
Sadulaev won the gold medal at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
