The MMA PACK account on one of the social media has an entry that reads, “Conor McGregor will fight at welterweight in early 2023. Justin Gaethje is the leading candidate to become McGregor’s next opponent.”
This message could have gone unnoticed if McGregor himself had not put a “like” below. The Irish fighter continues to recover from a broken leg and gain peak physical condition. The turning point came on July 11, 2021 in a fight with American Dustin Poirier, which Conor lost by technical knockout late in the first round.
