The British boxer says he doesn’t want to retire, but plans to keep fighting.
The owner of the WBC heavyweight belt Tyson Fury shared his opinion that he did not wait for the fight with the WBA, WBO and IBF world champion Oleksandr Usyk.
According to the Briton, he will have a big pause in his career if he waits until next year.
“I fought in April of this year. So it would be ridiculous to wait until next April for a middleweight. Why spend a whole year outside the ring? I’m a boxer. If I can come back, then let fight me
Usyk doesn’t want the “Gypsy King” to beat him. He returned to Ukraine and did what he did. His team says what it has to say. Let him swing a little, gain weight, eat more food, more meat. Let him pump up to fight me,” Fury said in an interview on YouTube channel Behind The Gloves.
Previously, Fury’s promoter announced who the WBC world champion’s next opponent would be.
