ONE Championship organizers have officially confirmed that former KSW champion Roberto Soldic’s long-awaited debut will take place in Manila on December 3 as part of the ONE Fight Night 5 tournament. The Croatian’s opponent will be the undefeated Russian, who hails from Makhachkala, Murad Ramazanov.
In August, the ONE Championship was able to get Soldic, at the time the most popular non-contract mixed martial artist. Representing UDF Gym, Soldic participated in the KSW European League, where he won the welterweight and middleweight championship titles. In his last 15 fights, he has had 14 wins. Soldic is a puncher: out of 20 professional victories in his career, 17 have been by knockout.
Soldich’s rival Murad Ramazanov, 26, made a name for himself on the international stage in 2020 when he signed with ONE Championship after 8 years of performing professionally in MMA in Russia. He has an unblemished record of 11-0, with three straight wins in the ONE ring.
