“Beard Rubbed Blood On His Eyes” – MMA Fighter Opened Up About Unusual Dirty Move

russian fighter Vitaly Slipenko playing in the ACA league, spoke about the unexpected reception of his compatriot Murad Abdulaev during a fight during the ACA 145 tournament.

The tournament took place on September 23 in St. Petersburg. In the main event, Slipenko won by judges’ decision after five rounds. For Abdulaev, this defeat was the third of the last five fights.

– You had a weird moment in the fight when Murad cut you, then with his chin in the stalls, as if trying to open a bigger cut.

– He first hit his head hard, got a cut. I told the judge that I had been hit on the head. The judge made a remark. And he started rubbing the blood on my face and my eyes with his beard. At one point I saw practically nothing, even went to the wrong corner, only heard voices where to go. It wasn’t until they rubbed my face that I realized what was happening. The first time I encountered this, a very unusual thing. That is, you stop seeing in combat, and in the end you lose yourself even for a second. ‘Cause blood and beard touch you’re like bleach on your eyes. So you can get lost and miss some kind of blow,” Slipenko told .

Vitaly competes in the welterweight category (under 77 kg) and has been fighting professionally since 2014, he has 15 wins and four losses. The 28-year-old fighter is ranked third in the ACA rankings.
