Nurmagomedov retired undefeated in October 2020 with 29 wins.
“I had personal circumstances, personal family reasons, with my father. Of course, I could go on further.”
It was a reinforced concrete decision, I don’t see any options on how it could change. At least I don’t see it now,” the 34-year-old fighter said in an interview with UFC Russia’s YouTube channel.
