Athletistic/ MMA. UFC featherweight champion, Australian mixed martial artist Alexander Volkanovski has revealed why his potential fight with Brazilian Charles Oliveira will be stronger than a possible showdown with Russian Islam Makhachev.
“Charles would be the best option. There’s a lot of hype around him. Everyone considers him a champion, and if I beat him, everyone will consider me a champion. But if I meet Islam and beat him, I’m sure people will always call me champion,” Volkanovski said.

Charles Oliveira has 33 wins, 8 losses, 0 draws and 1 without a fight. Islam Makhachev has 22 wins, 1 loss, 0 draw in MMA.
On October 22, Oliveira and Makhachev will fight for the UFC lightweight title. The fight will take place at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates as part of the main event of the UFC 280 tournament.
