American boxer Devin Haney defeated Australian George Kambosos in the return match and defended the world titles according to the International Boxing Federation (IBF), World Boxing Association (WBA) Super, World Boxing Council (WBC) and the World Boxing Organization (WBO).
The twelve-round bout in Melbourne ended with victory for Haney, 23, by judges’ decision. The score of the judges’ notes is 119:109, 118:110, 118:110.
In the first fight in June, the American also won by unanimous decision.
In the professional ring, Haney had 29 wins (15 by KO), suffered no losses, due to Kambosos’ 29 wins (10 by KO) and two losses (both by Haney).
