“I heard all these rumors about Usyk, and today he’s not even in the building. Where is he? Sometimes people say they want to fight me, then they come to my show, they see a crushing knockout and change their minds. I’m ready for any opponent, whether it’s Usyk or Andy Ruiz. Deontay Wilder is back,” the boxer said.

Before defeating Robert Helenius, Deontay Wilder suffered two defeats in a row against the Briton Tyson Fury – February 22, 2020 – by technical knockout in the 7th round, October 9, 2021 – by knockout in the 11th round.
