The Russian Women’s Boxing Championship will be held from October 16 to 22 at the Basket Hall arena in Krasnodar. More than 170 athletes from 49 regions will take part in the tournament, who will compete in the team and individual competitions.
– Thanks to all the organizing committee for the luminous opening of the championship. Everything took place at the highest level. Amazing show. Wonderful, colorful and exciting numbers. And of course spectacular fights. In a week, our girls will become champions and winners in this ring. It’s a special championship because our girls are the most beautiful and the most technical. Athletes will compete for medals of the Russian Championship in weight categories up to 48 kg, up to 50 kg, up to 52 kg, up to 54 kg, up to 57 kg, up to 60 kg , up to 63 kg, up to 66 kg, up to 70 kg, up to 75 kg, up to 81 kg and over 81 kg.
The prize for the tournament amounted to 24 million rubles, the winners will each receive 1.5 million.
