According to the judges’ notes, Haney won by a score of 119-109, 118-110, 118-110. In the first fight between these rivals, which took place on June 5, 2022 at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Haney also won by unanimous decision – 116-112, 116-112, 118-110.
With a second win over Kambosos Jr., Devin defended his WBA Super, WBO, IBF and WBC Franchise title as the undisputed lightweight world champion. Devin Haney remains undefeated – now on his own – 29 victories including 15 won by KO. George Kambosos Jr.’s record has 20 wins (10 by KO), 2 losses, 0 draws.
