The Russian Women’s Boxing Championship will be held from October 16 to 22 at the Basket Hall arena in Krasnodar. More than 170 athletes from 49 regions will take part in the tournament, who will compete in individual and team events. In October, the board of directors of the International Boxing Association (IBA) voted to admit boxers from Russia and Belarus to competitions under the auspices of the organization with the decision taking effect immediately. In the women’s championship of Russia, as well as in the men’s championship, there was an open draw – the favorites were not high according to the grid.

The prize money for the championship of Russia amounted to 24 million rubles, winners will receive 1.5 million, silver medalists – 250,000, bronze – 125,000 rubles.
The tournament is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Russian Boxing Federation.
