Athletistic/ MMA. Former UFC lightweight champion Brazilian fighter Charles Oliveira (33-8-0(1)) is confident he will soon face Russia’s Islam Makhachev in a one-on-one bout at the UFC 280.
“I had surgery, and now my eyes are 100% healthy. Now I see everything. I will eliminate Islam in the first round. And then we will celebrate. I am a real champion. I will prove it again when I get back in the cage,” Oliveira said.
The fight between Oliveira and Makhachev will be the main event of UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on October 22.
Heading into the fight, Charles Oliveira is on an 11-fight winning streak. Islam Makhachev’s winning streak is 10 fights.
