The preliminary bout between Mineev and Rodriguez will take place on November 18 under kickboxing rules.
Earlier it became known that Mineev received a summons to the armed forces as part of a partial mobilization. The fighter admitted to that he wanted to “slam the door” on a fight with Rodriguez before being sent to the war zone.
