Boxers agree on deal details
Former “Interim” WBC World Champion Dillian Whyte (28-3, 19 KOs) will have his next fight November 26 c Jermain Franklin (21-0, 14 KOs).
“We are very close to finalizing the Jermain Franklin vs Dillian Whyte deal in London on November 26th via DAZN. Jermaine is young, hungry, experienced and patiently waiting for his opportunity,” said Franklin promoter Dmitry Salita.
“At this point in Franklin’s career, White is the best contender. He is experienced, his left hook is one of the best in the world. In addition, for White, the fight with Franklin is one of his last chances in his career.
Dillian has lost two of his last three fights. In April, White lost to Fury by TKO in the sixth round for the WBC heavyweight title.
Franklin had his last fight in May 2022, defeating American Rodney Moore in the eighth round.
