Ukrainian previously spoke about a possible duel with Deontay
Former World Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder commented on the possible fight against the world heavyweight champion according to WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO Oleksandr Usyk.
“I think it will be very difficult. I would be very surprised if he [Усик] will keep his word. You know I’m a man of my word. I stick to principles, morals and goals.”
“We’ll see what it does. We’ll call Usyk’s team. If he is a man of his word, there will be a hell of a fight between us.
In October, Deontay defeated Helenius by knockout in the first round. The victory made Wilder a contender for the WBC heavyweight title held by Tyson Fury.
Earlier it was reported that the WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk spoke respectfully about Wilder and called him his possible next opponent.
