Athletistic/ Boxing. The fight of 34-year-old Russian lightweight Magomed Mustafaev (14-3) at the UFC 280 tournament is in doubt.
Mustafaev was originally scheduled to face 28-year-old Jamie Mullarkey (15-5), but the Aussie got injured and dropped out of the fight. Then the Russian was given as a rival to Japanese fighter Yamato Nishikawa (21-3), who had never fought in the UFC before. However, according to Red Corner MMA and TASS reporter Igor Lazorin, Nishikawa will not be able to compete at UFC 280 because he has a contract with another league.
It’s unclear if Mustafaev will fight at UFC 280.
