MMA fighter Mineev hasn’t ruled out the fight with Rodriguez will be the last of his career

Russian MMA fighter, AMC Fight Nights league champion Vladimir Mineev did not rule out that the kickboxing fight with Brazilian Fernando Rodriguez, scheduled for November 18 in Moscow, could be the last of his professional career.

Earlier, Mineev told that he planned to conduct part of the preparation for the fight with Rodriguez in Makhachkala, but he would not have time to hold a training camp there and would prepare for Mariupol.

– I haven’t played in Moscow for a long time, which makes the event even more exciting for me.

To the question of whether this fight will be the last of my sporting career, I will not answer yet, I do not know. But I know for sure that it will be very difficult, because in the ring in front of me there will be a huge Fernando Rodriguez. Well, let’s take it as a class, it’s not in vain that we studied in a kickboxing school.

They say Santa Forte always comes forward and strikes. He’s ahead, but I’m not behind either, so expect sparks,” Mineev wrote on social media.

Earlier it became known that Mineev received a summons to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation as part of a partial mobilization. The fighter admitted to that he wanted to “slam the door” on a fight with Rodriguez before leaving.

Mineev, 32, in mixed martial arts, has fought 18 fights – 16 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss.
