Athletistic/ MMA. Cicero Coutinho, the trainer of Brazilian mixed martial arts fighter Charles Oliveira, has shared his expectations for his neighborhood’s upcoming fight with Russia’s Islam Makhachev.
“Charles knows the pros and cons of Makhachev very well. The fight will most likely take place in a fight. We expect Charles to choke Makhachev in the second or third round,” Coutinho said.
Islam Makhachev (22-1-0) and Charles Oliveira (33-8-0 (1)) will square off for the UFC lightweight title on Oct. 22 at UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi. Islam Makhachev has won 10 of his last fights, Charles Oliveira’s winning streak is 11 fights.
