UFC fighter Yevloev diagnosed with complete rupture of both cruciate ligaments

russian fighter Movsar Evloyev received a serious knee injury, due to which his duel with Bryce Mitchell, scheduled for November 5, was canceled, the manager of Russian Sayat Abdrakhmanov spoke about the type of injury suffered by the athlete.

Evloev, 28, is an undefeated MMA fighter who has won 16 out of 16 fights. The Russian last entered the octagon in June this year and beat Dan Ige. As Abdrakhmanov told , Evloev’s anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments were torn.

– He got injured in the gym in the United States, there was general group wrestling training. At first an MRI showed it was a meniscus and a ligament, but in Moscow they did a second study and they said it was a rupture of two ligaments , the anterior and posterior cruciate. In this case, the knee simply does not hold anything and it would be impossible to perform. Abdrakhmanov said.

Evloev competes in the featherweight (65.8 kg) and takes 10th place in the UFC rankings.
