Down-the-line.com/MMA. President of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov commented on the results of the UFC 280 tournament, which took place in Abu Dhabi (UAE). Among other things, Kadyrov touched on the topic of refereeing in the duel between Russian Petr Yan and American Sean O’Malley. Their fight ended with O’Malley winning by split decision.

“The next fight night of UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi is over. I congratulate the Russian fighters who won the fights. But, as usual, our Petr Yan is unlucky with the judges, although our fighter showed a magnificent and tactical fight. For some reason the judges decided that his opponent Sean O’Malley was more confident. But many, including tournament spectators, disagree with that. Peter, you’re still the best in your weight class!” Kadyrov wrote on his social networks.
