Athletistic/ MMA. Russian mixed martial arts fighter Alexander Emelianenko is convinced that the judges’ verdict in the fight between Peter Yan and American Sean O’Malley at the UFC 280 tournament was unfair.

“I think he was prosecuted. I don’t believe that today Russian fighters don’t occupy the front lines. It’s not just sports, politics and television that are there. Many factors played into this fight that were not on Peter Yan’s side. I think in revenge he will confirm his victory,” Emelianenko said.

Petr Yan lost to Sean O’Malley via split decision. Many active fighters and MMA experts are convinced that the judges’ verdict was unfair and that the victory should have been given to Jan.

Thus, Sean O’Malley has scored 16 victories in his career with one loss, no draw and one fight recognized as not having taken place. Petr Yan suffered the second loss in a row and the fourth in his entire career. Also because of the Russian fighter – 16 wins and 0 draws.
