WBC champion says Anthony missed his chance
WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury announced that he no longer wants to fight former world champion Anthony Joshua. According to The Gypsy King, Anthony missed his chance for a big fight.
“He has no belts. He has nothing that I need and there will never be a fight between me and him. Full stop. Too much clutter. I’m not going to repeat this again. They are too difficult to deal with.”
“The fight didn’t happen. The reason, in my opinion, is that they never wanted it to happen and they never had the intention of it happening.
There are no more fights that could outweigh Tyson Fury. There isn’t one. There will be no more money to fight Deontay Wilder or Usyk a third time. The only money fight for him right now is to fight me, but that bird has flown.

In August, Joshua lost by split decision to Ukrainian boxer, WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.
Anthony has been in talks with WBC champion Tyson Fury for a fight in late 2022. However, the parties could not agree on the final details of the contract.
Fury pulled out of a fight with Joshua and agreed to fight Derek Chisora. Fury and Chisora will fight their third face-to-face fight in London at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
