The WBC champion is ready to fight the Ukrainian in February
WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury said that he plans to hold three fights in 2023. The first opponent should be the WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.
“Whoever I deal with, I guarantee that next year I will have three fights starting in February [с Усиком]. If he wants a rematch, he can have a rematch.”
“Then I will fight someone at the end of the year. Wilder if he’s required, Joe Joyce if he’s free, and if he gets a little pumped up, Daniel Dubois, for example. There is plenty of British beef to match.”
Tyson Fury and Derek Chisora will fight their third face-to-face fight in London at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Before that, the Gypsy King defeated Derek twice – in 2011 and 2014.
Fury, after defeating Dillian Whyte in April, announced his retirement twice, but the boxer never vacated the WBC championship belt. On social networks, Tyson has repeatedly discussed a possible fight with Usyk.
