The fight of the former “interim” WBC world champion Dillian Whyte (28-3, 19 KOs) with Jermain Franklin (21-0, 14 KOs) officially confirmed. The fight will take place at Wembley Stadium on November 26.
Earlier, Franklin’s promoter Dmitry Salita said that White is the best opponent for his ward at this stage of his career. According to him, Jermain was patiently waiting for his opportunity, while for Dillian, the fight is one of the last chances.
Dillian has lost two of his last three fights. In April, White lost to Fury by TKO in the sixth round for the WBC heavyweight title.
Franklin had his last fight in May 2022, defeating American Rodney Moore in the eighth round.
